BUILD IT, THEN UN-BUILD IT
Industrial wire harnesses can be complex. Sometimes just making a drawing for that complex cable can be a daunting task. Often we find the best way is for the customer to build the cable, wire the box, or connect the leads and then send us the finished unit to document. Our team of engineers can use your sample and BOM to make drawings that make sense. This leads to repeatable quality and ease of modification.
CONSOLIDATE CONNECTION TYPES TO SAVE MONEY
Often as a product evolves through versions and designers, the individual connectors can vary due to knowledge, or parts on hand at that time. A "faston" can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Chances are the production people know what they can substitute or what works best. By reviewing you terminal and connector list you can save money by consolidating parts..DON’T RELY ON VISUAL INSPECTION
With dozens or hundreds of connections you cannot trust visual or even partial inspection of your products.
